RO modules

Aqua-Life reverse osmosis module consists of a high-pressure pump, an energy recovery device, a membrane housing, a membrane element. It’s just that all these parts are not separated, but in one unit, very compact and without a single pipe or tube. No need to synchronize anything. Just switch it on and get fresh water. A single module produces 30 m3 of fresh water per day.  And if you need more, the modules may be interconnected. Two, four, or let’s say twelve. 60, 120, or 360 m 3 /day.

Benefits:

  • High-pressure pump with an internal energy recovery device
  • Modular system, each RO module can work together or independently
  • Ultra-compactness with relatively high productivity
  • Simplicity in assembling and servicing
  • No need for costly high-pressure tubes and flowmeters
  • Energy consumption is up to 65% lower in comparison with RO systems without energy recovery
  • The efficiency of energy recovery exceeds 95%
  • The high corrosion resistance of every part thanks to Duplex, Superduplex, and PEEK

Seawater RO unit 40 c m per day

This RO unit was designed to correspond to the next demands:

●Low energy consumption

●Compact size, light weight, and small footprint

●Easy connection to pipeline net and to power point

●Comfortable maintains

Low energy consumption is reaching thanks to applying APPR pump with integrated energy recovery. It gives the opportunity to reduce energy consumption to 2.7 kWh for a cubic meter of fresh water. If to use a high-pressure pump without energy recovery, the energy consumption increases to 6 kWh / m3.

The compactness is achieved through the use of the Aqua-Life distribution system, which allows to reduce the length of the pipe and provides a convenient connection to the flush line.

Light weight is a result of the applying of an APPR pump, which can be efficiently paired with a relatively small light motor.

It`s easy to connect the RO unit to a pipeline net as all pump connections are placed in one line.

The system has open access for any maintenance operations: chemical membranes flushing, membranes changing, pump service.

The automatic control system concludes:

-protections against pump dry running; pump rotor wrong rotation; exciding pressure in membrane housing; phase loss protection

- variable-frequency drive (applied in order to protect the motor and pump)

The automatic control system allows easy connection to the remote-control system.

RO module is a machine for producing freshwater from seawater. As a rule, it is installed after a water pre-treatment system. The main elements of the RO module Aqua-Life:

  • APPR high pressure pump with energy recovery device;
  • membrane housing;
  • seawater RO membrane;
  • flow distribution system.

All elements are combined into one module, which can be combined with other modules. So, system capacity may be easily increased by connecting few single modules in one.
