Light Seawater RO Unit, 40 m3/day
This simple RO unit demonstrates how easy can be assembled a desalination system using Aqua-life high-pressure APPR pump. We can mount a low energy consumption desalination machine without applying any energy recovery device (it already is built-in to the pump). Also, we don’t need necessarily to restrict concentrate flow, it should be nearly connected to the return concentrate port of the APPR pump. The distribution block of torrents provides an easy connection of chemical cleaning hoses.
This RO unit was designed to correspond to the next demands:
●Low energy consumption
●Compact size, lightweight, and small footprint
●Easy connection to pipeline net and to power point
●Comfortable maintains
Low energy consumption is reaching thanks to applying APPR pump with integrated energy recovery. It gives the opportunity to reduce energy consumption to 2.7 kWh for a cubic meter of fresh water. If to use a high-pressure pump without energy recovery, the energy consumption increases to 6 kWh / m3.
The compactness is achieved through the use of the Aqua-Life distribution system, which allows to reduce the length of the pipe and provides a convenient connection to the flush line.
Lightweight is a result of the applying of an APPR pump, which can be efficiently paired with a relatively small light motor.
It`s easy to connect the RO unit to a pipeline net as all pump connections are placed in one line.
The system has open access for any maintenance operations: chemical membranes flushing, membranes changing, pump service.
The automatic control system concludes:
-protections against pump dry running; pump rotor wrong rotation; exciding pressure in membrane housing; phase loss protection
– variable-frequency drive (applied in order to protect the motor and pump)
The automatic control system allows easy connection to the remote-control system.
